ALBEMARLE AMATEUR RADIO CLUB AWARDS – 2016
As a reminder, these are the awards that the AARC is currently offering in 2016 as well, many of the Operating Awards are aimed a new(ish) hams, and AARC are based on submitted personal logs. Neither QSL cards nor LoTW verification are required. The operating awards will be presented with great fanfare at our annual Awards Dinner. Below are just summaries. If you have questions, please contact Michael KA4JJD at mfr6t@virginia.edu.
We are also seeking nominations for AARC Service Awards. I call your attention particularly to the Elmering Award. Please nominate someone who has been particularly helpful to you in your amateur radio activities. Furthermore, if you have observed someone who has been particularly active in and beneficial to the Club, consider a nomination for a Special Service Award.
Please send inquiries, submissions, and nominations to Michael KA4JJD, at: mfr6t@virginia.edu
